Thomas M. Savon is a partner in the Philadelphia office of Naulty, Scaricamazza & McDevitt, LLC and practices with the firm’s Insurance Defense Department. He focuses his practice in the areas of litigation, medical malpractice and insurance defense.
Thomas has over twenty-five years of experience litigating complex professional liability claims. He has tried many cases in Philadelphia and throughout Pennsylvania in both State and Federal Courts. He has successfully defended hospitals and physicians in virtually every specialty of complex medical litigation. He has extensive experience in the defense of complex negligence claims and has litigated numerous general liability defense cases. He is often called upon to resolve matters through arbitration and mediation.
Thomas is a certified arbitrator licensed by the Superior Court of New Jersey, and he was appointed to the position of Burlington County Court Arbitrator. He is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, as well as before the U.S. Third Circuit Court of Appeals and the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and the District of New Jersey. Thomas is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association.
A graduate of DeSales University, Thomas earned his Bachelor of Arts cum laude in 1985, and was awarded his Juris Doctor from Widener University School of Law in 1988.
