Christine Guiliano

Christine R. Guiliano is a partner in the Philadelphia office of Naulty, Scaricamazza & McDevitt, LLC and practices with the firm’s Insurance Defense Department. She focuses her practice in the areas of litigation, medical malpractice, personal injury, appellate law and insurance defense.
Christine has twenty years of experience representing hospitals, physicians, nurses, nursing homes and long term care facilities in major medical malpractice trials, including: oncology, orthopedics, general surgery, corneal surgery, radiology, pediatrics, family practice, psychiatry, obstetrics and gynecology in Philadelphia and the surrounding counties. She is skilled in all aspects of defending complex medical negligence claims, including obtaining rapid resolution of matters through motion practice and arbitration.
In addition, Christine has extensively litigated matters in the areas of premises liability and general liability, as well as assault cases. She successfully argued to the Pennsylvania Supreme Court the first MCARE case interpreting expert qualifications under § 512. In both 2013 and 2014, Christine was recognized as a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer by her peers, as published by Philadelphia Magazine.
Christine received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Russell Sage College cum laude in 1994, and earned her Juris Doctor from Villanova University School of Law in 1997. She is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, as well as before the U.S. District Court, Eastern District of Pennsylvania and the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.
