Gary V. Gittleman is a Partner
in the Philadelphia Office of Naulty, Scaricamazza, and McDevitt
LLC, where he has focused his career defending dentists and
physicians in professional liability matters. As one of the
foremost authorities on the liability of dentists, Gary has
earned a position as Adjunct Assistant Professor of the Dental
Care Systems in the Associated Faculty of the School of Dental
Medicine of the University of Pennsylvania.
Gary’s expertise as a skilled litigator
has resulted in numerous distinctions and honors, including
OMSNIC National Insurance Attorney of the Year and he has
repeatedly been recognized with the OMSNIC Continuing Excellence
Award. Gary is frequently asked to lecture to practicing dentists
and oral surgeons, including serving as a faculty member in
the Ortho-McNeil Top Scholar Fellow Symposium and as an invited
lecturer at the Montgomery-Bucks Dental Society, Oral Surgeon
Honor Society of the Temple University School of Dentistry,
the Academy of Stomatology, Delaware Society of Oral and Maxillofacial
Surgery and the American Association of Orthodontist Annual
Conference.
A graduate of Villanova University, Gary earned
his Bachelor or Science degree in 1967, and received his law
degree from Villanova University School of Law in 1970. He
is a member of the American, Philadelphia and Pennsylvania
Bar Associations, Pennsylvania Defense Research Institute,
and the Philadelphia Association of Defense Counsel. He is
admitted to practice in the State of Pennsylvania and before
the U.S. District Courts Eastern State of Pennsylvania.
